Notice regarding BCM Events: Revised Programme - 2022
Due to the recent restrictions in place because of Covid 19, we have been unable to run any Centre Events so far this season.
The latest announcements by the government outlining the way forward for New Zealand and the implementation of the “Traffic Light” system have now enabled us to consider running events and review our programme.
Therefore, the Bowls Counties Manukau Board are please to advise that a revised events programme has now been put in place with the first event to be run in February 2022. We have endeavoured to fit in as many events as possible over the February to June period. Attached is the events programme details and these can also be found on the BCM website.
We take this opportunity to thank the “host” clubs for accommodating our new playing dates and we also ask that players accept that things will be a little different this year in playing venues and the order of events being run.
For any players wanting to enter an event there is a new entry procedure which can be found either in the Centre Handbook or on the BCM website. All players who enter a Centre event need to be fully vaccinated as per our Vaccination Certificate Policy [see the policy on the BCM website]. Also, please note that the Covid 19 situation and the “Protection Framework” [the traffic light system] is a very fluid situation and subject to change at short notice. The Centre will endeavour to notify players and issue notices as soon as possible should there be any changes to our programme.
A copy of this notice can be found on the BCM website.
